YEARLY THEME:  My Family and My Neighborhood

Prayer:  Students will be able to recite Shabbat blessings, blessings over food, Chanukah blessings, and Yigdal

Hebrew:  Students will be able to write the Hebrew letters in block print, recognize Hebrew vowels, blend vowel and letter sounds.  Students will be able to comprehend and recite Hebrew words as they relate to family members.

Mitzvot:       Students will be able to identify mitzvot they can do in the synagogue and in the community.

Israel:          Students will be able to identify Israel as the home of the Jewish people, Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and the 3 components of Jerusalem.
