Membership

Beth Sholom Congregation has served the Jewish community in the Frederick County area since 1917, and invite all to join our "family." We welcome members of all ages and levels of Jewish observance and offer many opportunities to learn, pray, serve and celebrate.

New Members

Beth Sholom welcomes members of all ages and levels of Jewish observance to learn, pray, serve and celebrate. New members are assessed introductory dues of $18 per month for the first year. We offer several types of memberships; please call the Beth Sholom office at (301) 663-3437 to discuss our dues and building fund schedule.

Susan has lived in Frederick with her husband Boyd for nearly 18 years. Their three sons attended our religious school and became B'nai Mitzvah here. Susan is on the board of trustees, serves as the new member committee co-chair, is active in Sisterhood and is the membership chair for the Frederick chapter of Hadassah. She founded and supervises Beth Sholom's Teen Volunteer Corps, which offers teens leadership and service opportunities.
