There are numerous opportunities for adults to explore stimulating topics of secular and Judaic interest. Adult classes and discussion groups encourage the exploration of our Jewish heritage and spiritual growth through the study of

  • Prayer
  • Holiday traditions and observance 
  • Jewish concepts based on Torah values.

New participants are always welcome to join the study groups at any time. Check the calendar of events for schedules.

Talmud Study
Join Rabbi Hersh each Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and delve into the Talmud, a central text of Rabbinic Judaism. The Talmud contains the teachings and opinions of the rabbis on a variety of subjects, including Halakha, Jewish ethics, philosophy, customs, history, lore and other topics. It is the basis for the Code of Jewish Law. Join in anytime; knowledge of Hebrew is not required. For more information, contact Rabbi Hersh.

Torah Study
Most Saturdays of the month after services, unless there is a Lunch & Learn, at 12:30 p.m.

Rabbi's Choice
Join Rabbi Hersh each Tuesday at 7 p.m. to learn about and discuss topics of Jewish interest. The current topic, "Beyond Dispute: The Debates That Shape Jewish Life," focuses on debates around Jewish practice, its essence and future, and whether our differences divide or unite us. Shoresh Lectures and Discussions
