Worship
As members of United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, Beth Sholom congregants enjoy religious services that are egalitarian, participatory and inclusive within the framework of halakha, or Jewish law. Our services incorporate both Hebrew and English, our prayer melodies are lively and our rabbi offers talks on a broad range of contemporary topics. We welcome men, women and children as active participants in our prayer.
Beth Sholom offers numerous opportunities to participate in prayer services. Congregants can read Torah, recite the Haftorah or serve as gabbai on Shabbat morning or during the weekly minyanim; lead services when the rabbi is unavailable; and serve as an usher or lead a youth service during the High Holidays.
