BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
The Book of Remembrance provides an opportunity to honor and preserve the memory of our beloved relatives and friends who have gone to their eternal rest. Placing names of the departed in the Book of Remembrance is a beautiful way to fulfill the mitzvah of tzedakah and to pay tribute to our dearly departed.
The Book of Remembrance is published and distributed on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Passover & Shavuot, and includes the complete Yizkor service for your use in the synagogue and home.
To donate funds in addition to the required minimum, please indicate the added amount above.

TZEDAKAH OPPORTUNITIES AT HIGH HOLIDAYS
For High Holidays Appeal this year, I’m encouraging us to reflect not on our impressive legacy, but on who we are as a community today - ha-yom, in Hebrew. What does it mean to be a part of the Beth Sholom community, ha-yom? What does it mean to be a Jew in 2025, in Frederick, with all that is going on locally, nationally, and internationally? And how can we embrace that and be the best community we can be for ourselves and each other, today, ha-yom? We hope this theme will inspire you to donate and support our community and help us thrive. While you will receive more information expanding on this theme in the coming weeks, if you are inspired to make your donation towards the annual appeal now, please do so below or visit the High Holiday landing page and click HIGH HOLIDAY APPEAL
